I am getting an error when I try to connect to Xero for the first time.

In order to connect FuseDocs to Xero Practice Manager, the initial user connecting must be an XPM administrator and have "Authorise 3rd Party Full Access" enabled within the Staff permissions in XPM options. Please see screen shot below.

How do I disconnect from Xero?

You can disconnect from Xero by clicking the "Disconnect" button on the Check Connections page within the FuseDocs application.

What doesn’t your integration do?

The FuseDocs + Xero Practice Manager integration is only designed to extract client contact and address information and group information from your XPM account.  You can find out more here.

How often is data synced between FuseDocs and XPM?

FuseDocs does not hold a copy of your data. Whenever you do a search for clients within FuseDocs - we connect to Xero and get the latest data. This ensures that you always have the most up to data groups and address information when using FuseDocs processes.

How does the XPM integration work with our Document Management System (DMS)?

This relationship between how your documents are stored and your client database can vary from firm to firm - however, most often there is a relationship based on the Client Code field within Xero. That code then matches with metadata or a directory structure stored within your DMS, allowing FuseDocs to extract the correct client documents.
